Coming off the heels of Ashley Purdy clearing his name from false allegations, Purdy embraces the positives of his outlaw reputation to release his brand-new EP NashVillain.
NashVillain leans in an Americana direction for the former member of Black Veil Brides. Purdy draws on Southern Rock and Country influences to create a unique flair to Outlaw Country.
His harrowing experience with fan harassment primed him to want to speak out from this “bad boy” perspective.
“People want to love and celebrate you when they’re for you, but people can be fickle, and once they turn against you, you’re labeled this villain,” he admits. “Since living in Nashville and being in the press more than I anticipated. I decided to go ahead and own it and put out this outlaw country rock record and then title it ‘NashVillain,’ since this town is the home of outlaws…It just seemed fitting.”
NashVillain is currently available everywhere on all platforms. Listen to the new single ‘Won’t Take Me Alive’ below.

Amazing song and Ep
Ashley Purdy is amazing. All that he has been through in a span of a year, he deserves the recognition. The ep is incredible, he has the voice for country. He is definitely going places as a solo artist. I am behind him 100%.
