2020 has been a weird year, and Touche Amore has delivered a new track (and album announcement) to help soften the continuous blow that this year has been. ‘Limelight’ is a longer track, clocking in at around five minutes, for a band whose previously longest track was a little under four minutes. The band also has a guest on vocals as well – long time friend Andy Hull.

‘Limelight’ is smooth and heavy, something the band has been able to accomplish with ease on their previous album. With longer tracks and more vocalizing and screaming intertwined, this new sound balances perfectly with the more post hardcore sound the band has come to be known for. With overlapping vocals from Bolm and Hull, and an outro that is unexpected and beautifully concludes the track, the single gives a taste of the new record and leaves everyone wanting more

Touche Amore announced the release day of their fifth album (the first since 2016), Lament on October 2nd. Available to pre-order here: https://kingsroadmerch.com/touche-amore/.
