Broadside are back!
After some major lineup changes and a long lull in their discography since 2017’s Paradise, Broadside have dropped a new single, ‘Foolish Believer’.
When guitarist and secondary vocalist Dorian Cooke departed the band in May of last year to form his new band, Neverkept (who provided our Track of the Week a few weeks ago), many feared that it would be the end of the band.
However, Broadside are back stronger than ever with a new spark and fresh energy on the new track.
The release coincides with their signing to Sharptone Records – the home of bands such as Don Broco and Loathe. This move sees their departure from the controversial Victory Records.
After a taste of what’s to come, we cannot wait to hear what the band do next. We also want to wish them all the best of luck with Sharptone.
Unfortunately, their UK tour that was due happen next month with Set It Off has been postponed due to coronavirus, but we hope they’ll be a part of the rescheduled dates.
If you’ve never heard of them, the band – comprised of vocalist Oliver Baxxter, guitarist Domenic Reid, bassist Pat Diaz, and drummer Jeff Nichols – are ones to watch, and this new chapter is something to start getting excited about.
