Silverstein are celebrating their 20th band birthday this year, and what better way to mark the massive milestone than by releasing a brand new album. A Beautiful Place to Drown – the band’s ninth studio album – is out on March 9th via UNFD.
Last week, the Ontario quintet unveiled their lead single from the album, ‘Infinite’. The track features Underoath’s Aaron Gillespie (one of many features on the album) and is our track of the week.
Warning: you will have the song stuck in your head all day – the ridiculously catchy 2 minute, 42 second track is absolute post hardcore perfection. Silverstein age like a fine wine, and after 20 years, they’re even better than they’ve ever been; ‘Infinite’ is solid proof of that.
We’re only into the second full week of the year, and already, 2020 is shaping up to be a solid year for music, with Silverstein right at the forefront.
Catch Silverstein live at Islington Academy, London on February 7th and 8th. Pre-order A Beautiful Place to Drown here.
