Major League Wrestling (MLW®) has come to terms with World Middleweight Champion Myron Reed on a new contract. The 22-year old Louisville native signed a long-term deal over the holidays, officially setting the talented athlete’s future with Major League Wrestling. “Myron has emerged as an extraordinary athlete and important voice in the sport,” said Court Bauer, MLW CEO and founder. “We look forward to seeing the champ showcased in MLW as he enters his prime.”
Reed joined MLW in July 2018, signing his first deal with the organization at the age of 20. Since then, Reed has impressed the league, fans and media with his performance against some of MLW’s top-ranked competitors en route to winning the World Middleweight title in Orlando on November 9.
Establishing the Injustice movement earlier this year, Reed has been an outspoken advocate with a powerful message. Now consisting of Reed, Jordan Oliver and Kotto Brazil, the trio are one of the most powerful and prominent teams in the league. What’s next for the newly minted MLW signee? A rumoured title fight in Dallas. League officials expect to make a formal announcement in the coming days with more details.
In a message released by Chris Jericho, The Painmaker has stated that if Hiroshi Tanahashi can beat him at Wrestle Kingdom January 5, he will be granted an opportunity at the AEW Championship.

As announced yesterday, AEW World Champion Chris Jericho and Hiroshi Tanahashi wanted to add a stipulation for their upcoming Wrestle Kingdom 14 match on January 5. Tanahashi spoke with Tokyo Sports, believing it was only logical that he got a shot at the title if he beats Jericho at the Tokyo Dome. NJPW’s websites (Japanese and English) and its official social media accounts have now posted Jericho’s video, so it looks like all parties have agreed to the stipulation.
For the first time ever, CZW is coming to on-demand and pay-per-view in January 2020 in the USA. All the hardcore action, all the bloody pain, all the sexy female fighters, and all the ultraviolent wrestling you’ve been demanding will be available every month on-demand and on pay-per-view.
Don’t miss a minute of the mayhem as CZW will have the following shows available on cable and satellite providers across the land beginning in January:
- CZW: Combat Zone’s Bloodiest Wars – Featuring DJ HYDE/MASADA vs ATUSHI ONITA/MATT TREMONT, MANCE WARNER vs RICKEY SHANE PAGE
- CZW Girlz – Featuring HANIA vs ATHENA, MERCEDES MARTINEZ vs ALLIE
Every month, CZW will be bringing their greatest, bloodiest, ultraviolent matches to US cable or satellite provider, and you can order the shows on-demand or on pay-per-view. CZW PPVs also air on Fite TV.
