It’s been three years since Radiohead released their most recent album A Moon Shaped Pool, but its members have kept themselves busy with various soundtracks and solo albums. Today, the band’s enigmatic lead singer Thom Yorke has announced a series of UK and European tour dates behind this year’s excellent ANIMA, spanning nearly a month in the summer of 2020.
The tour will kick off in Glasgow next June and will pass through eight countries, including two shows at London’s Eventim Apollo and appearances at Roskilde Festival. Yorke will be traveling with Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes, his live multimedia group that features Radiohead super-producer Nigel Godrich and visual artist Tarik Barri. The trio promises to play songs from across the breadth of Yorke’s solo catalog, including his three studio albums, Atoms for Peace’s Amok, and the soundtrack to Luca Guadagnino’s Suspiria.
Tickets for these shows will be available on Friday, October 18. Revisit Thom Yorke’s Down the Rabbit Hole performance of “Twist” and check out the newly announced tour schedule below.
