NWA President Billy Corgan announced today via his Instagram Page the official logo for the National Wrestling Alliance Georgia shows on September 30th and October 1st.

“Georgia, The National Wrestling Alliance is coming home to you. Which is why we’ve gone out of our way to make this very special logo the flagship symbol for our upcoming television tapings in Atlanta, September 30th and October 1st. I have so much history with the area, from recording Siamese Dream in Marietta in 1992 and 93, to those Saturday mornings watching the Nature Boy tear it up from Techwood Studios. And here we’ll be just down the block, a stone’s throw away from those vaunted days, at GPB studios in front of 154 strong. I can guarantee that our shows we’ll be like no other currently out there, and in my opinion ”

The Rock-N-Roll Express, the five-time NWA World Tag Team Champions & WWE Hall of Famers, are coming to Atlanta, GA on October 1st to be a part of the NWA’s Studio Wrestling event at Georgia Public Broadcasting Studios. Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson made their triumphant return to the NWA at the Crockett Cup in a memorable match with The Briscoes.

Ricky and Robert were staples of the NWA World Championship Wrestling show from Techwood Drive studio wrestling show. They had classic wrestling moments with The Midnight Express, The Horseman and all the stars of Jim Crockett Promotions. With the resurgence of the National Wrestling Alliance, the ink is still drying on this next chapter for Morton and Gibson who have become even more active in the last calendar year.

Who is Ricky Starks? He is called Stroke Daddy by the Ladies and Absolute by the men. The National Wrestling Alliance first met Ricky at NWA 70 and his signing has brought more attention to the famed brand as we get closer to September 30th and October 1st.

The hype vignettes produced by Ricky Starks caught the eye of the NWA and showed a level of creativity that matched the sensibility of #TenPoundsOFGold and the resurgence of The National Wrestling Alliance.

In this video, find out more about Ricky Starks and see him in action from Championship Wrestling From Hollywood.
