The eighth team for OWE UK’s Tag Team tournament has been revealed as none other than the UK Hooligans, Zak and Roy Knight. They join Strong Hearts, Gym Nasty Boyz, Arrows of Hungary, Anti Fun Police, International Superstars, the Super Sharp Bros and The Kings of the North as one of the 16 teams to be announced.
OWE UK listened to the call of #SignTheHooligans by welcoming the UK Hooligans in the tournament, when other company didn’t take the chance. Zack and Roy Knight were born and raised into wrestling. As the sons of Rick and Saraya Knight and the brothers of WWE’s own Paige, they have been a part of the lineage of UK wrestling.
The UK Hooligans have worked around the UK winning titles in their wake sometimes alongside their father, Ricky Knight. Despite being 29, Zak Knight has been wrestling for 19 years. His half-brother Roy made his debut in 1995 at only 14. They trained and have performed in the family promotion, WAW UK. They have also been seen in PCW and SWE where they have held gold.
The tour will be taking place from September 18th-22nd with two shows in London and three shows in Liverpool. For more information on the company and tickets, be sure to check out their Twitter and their website here.
