Since we started to tell you about OWE UK and its upcoming Tag Team tournament, we’ve never stopped to tell you about the company sending out scrolls worldwide to build up a roster, which also saw them snag UK talents Robert Sharpe and Lou King Sharp.
Sharpe and Sharp, aka The Super Sharp Bros, are now officially in the Tag Team Tournament as contestants. They join the Anti Fun Police, Arrows of Hungary, Gym Nasty Boyz, International Superstars and Strong Hearts as the announced participants of the tournament.
Lou King Sharp has been in the business for 5 years. The Glasgow native is dubbed as “Your Mother’s Favourite Wrestler” and “The Blood Tourist”. Described as a high-flyer, Sharp has been a steady member of ICW roster. He made his debut with another Glasgow-based promotion, Premier British Wrestling, and ever since has worked with what British Wrestling has made best, like the late Lionheart, Joe and Mark Coffey, Iestyn Rees, JImmy Havoc, Joe Hendry, Ashton Smith or Rampage Brown.
The 6’5 Robert Sharpe was trained by Stixx and Joseph Conners at House Of Pain Wrestling School. The Birmingham-born talent made his debut 4 years ago. Like his new tag team partner, he has been a recurrent talent in IPW:UK, House of Pain Wrestling and HOPE. He teamed up, and competed against, the recently retired Jack Sexsmith Among his opponents, we can find David Starr, Jody Fleisch, The Anti-Fun Police, Jimmy Havoc or Mark Haskins. He’s the current Frontline OpenWeight Euro Champion, former IPW Tag Team Champion and Z-Force Champion.
The tour will be taking place from September 18th-22nd with two shows in London and three shows in Liverpool. For more information on the company and tickets, be sure to check out their Twitter and their website here.
