Sum 41 came to Exeter to show that the rock scene is far from dead. They took over Exeter Castle with tour support from Yours Truly and lots more bands supporting from the South West.

Yours Truly bought a bouncy and energetic presence to the stage at Exeter Castle, with guitarist Lachlan head banging through the entire show, you couldn’t deny his passion for performing. During the show the drummer Frank had a chance to show off his serious talent during his solo, combining multiple songs into one for it.
Taking the time to shout out that their album Chuck was released 15 years ago and playing the hits of it was the perfect way to complete the show.
As the sun was setting vocalist Mikaila jumped around the stage but that didn’t diminish from her strong but innocent voice, a different sound from the band they were there to support but they soon got the crowd on board and ready to party with Sum 41.

Mikaila told the crowd how grateful they were to be playing the show as they’re an Australian band playing their first time in the South West but the love from the crowd
made them feel right at home.
Sum 41 bought the party to Exeter Castle, the band were smashing it from start
Mixing the fan favourites with brand new tracks from their upcoming album Order In Decline this kept the crowd singing along to their performance and getting them excited for the new album.
Vocalist Deryck was super chatty between songs having banter with the crowd, showing the fellow band members love and of course thanking all the support bands showing that Sum 41 in 2019 is confident but not arrogant.

The band pulled members from the crowd to join them on stage and when they weren’t doing that the crowd was going nuts with circle pits and non stop crowd surfing.
