All Elite Wrestling Announces Cima & “Fight For the Fallen” Pre-Sale

On April 15, 2019, All Elite Wrestling announced their latest signee, continued search for the Librarian and unveiled the pre-sale for upcoming event Fight For the Fallen. As the road to Double or Nothing continues, one of the biggest announcements would be the signing of Dragon Gate veteran Cima.

Cima made his debut on May 11, 1997, graduated from the first class of Ultimo Dragon’s Toryumon dojo. Cima was one of the founders of the Crazy Max stable and a lengthy feud with Magnum Tokyo. Originally starting as a high flyer he was known for his Mad Splash finisher. After receiving wear and tear from using this finisher he would start using the Schwein as a finisher. The change in his move set would be because of the knee surgery he had to undergo. He would go on to win the Open the Dream Gate Championship from Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger in 2007. The title would have to be vacated in May 2008 due to a neck injury that was developed. Cima would return to the ring on December 28, 2008, to team up with Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger to challenge from the Dragon Gate Open the Twin Gate Championship.

After 21 years, Cima would announce his departure from Dragon Gate and announce the formation of Oriental Wrestling Entertainment. The promotion is primarily based in China. Others from Dragon Gate would follow. At OWE’s opening event on May 7, Cima overpowered T-Hawk. The rest of the Oriental Wrestling Entertainment roaster would debut in 2018 named Strong Hearts.

Cima has contended at several promotions such as Dragon Gate, Dragon Gate USA, Australasian Wrestling Federation, DDT, International Wrestling Revolution Group, Michinoku Pro-Wrestling, ROH and PWG.

The Dragon Gate veteran and OWE coach is a fantastic addition to new ambitious promotion AEW. Cima is an inspirational, remarkable, and hard-hitting wrestler with the ability to educate audiences with his in-ring performances.

The Pre-Sale code for Fight For the Fallen would also be announced on the hit YouTube show “Being the Elite”. The pre-sale code will include VIP packages and tickets.
