Experimenting with, “jangle croon pop,” the quirky quartet, Honey Moon are on the horizon with their latest, masterpiece, ‘Yours, Girl.’ Out now via Heist.

With wistful vocals murmured by lyricist Jack Slater Chandler, and a trail of psychedelics, ‘Yours, Girl,’ is a wonderfully nonchalant track. Edging the yearn for an everlasting summer, you can practically hear the chirps of the seagulls, and feel the heatwaves blistering your non-lotioned arms.

Frontman Jack Slater Chandler elaborates on how the band captured these themes and sounds, “‘Yours, Girl’ is probably the most direct and heartfelt part of the EP; it shoots straight down the ballad barrel. The recording is intentionally quite clean and simple – no flashy production tricks, no crazy effects, just one single unadulterated slice of dreamy seaside pop. One for the lovers.”

With its nostalgic shimmer of Britpop and dash of 60’s doo-wop, its fair to say, the new Honey Moon track is exactly what we need to enduldge us into the atmosphere of summer.

The boys have currently been working alongside producer Alex Greaves at The Nave studios, for their forthcoming EP, Four More From. Scheduled for release September 21st, the band have a set a list of UK tour dates.
