Ring of Honor “Best In The World” Card

Ring of Honor is back in Baltimore this Sunday for the 9th edition of Best in the World PPV. Cody thought he would be the only man to square off with Dalton Castle and try to regain the ROH World Championship. But Marty Scurll asked for the title shot he earned but Cody stole to him. During the ROH/NJPW War of the Worlds Tour, there was obvious tension between Scurll and Cody. And it will reach its peak this Sunday.

At Bound By Honor, Punishment Martinez attacked Adam Page. During the ROH/NJPW War of the World Tour, Page cost Martinez the IWGP United States Championship and Martinez cost Page the ROH World Television Championship. Page and Martinez were also scheduled to a match during the tour but Page attacked Martinez again and the match never became official. Ever since, at State of the Art: Dallas, Martinez has become the ROH World TV Title.

“The Belt Collector” and current Impact Wrestling World Champion Austin Aries came up short to become ROH World TV Champion against then-CHampion Silas Young at Supercard of Honor XIIdue to an outside interference by Kenny King. After the match, a frustrated Aries ended up attacking Referee Todd Sinclair and Kenny King.
