Last week saw the release of the latest single, ‘Choke’ from I Don’t Know How But They Found Me.

IDK’s formation was shrouded in mystery and members initially denied all involvement on social media, eventually performing a number of secret shows around LA. We now know IDK is a collaboration between Panic! at the Disco‘s Dallon Weekes and Ryan Seaman (formerly of Falling in Reverse).

The project is a “musical entity outside of its own time, one that, faded away into obscurity in the early 80s, and today, through the internet, sees its performances and recordings being rediscovered by a world that finally just might be ready for IDK.” Weekes apparently wanted to create something “special for the fans who were paying attention.”

‘Choke’ is an absolute earworm of a song, it works it’s way into your brain and threatens to never leave. Like ever. It’s been stuck in my head since it’s release, but you know what…I’m okay with it because it’s a damn good song. If the bands two releases so far are anything go by I couldn’t be more excited for whatever is coming next.
