It’s been three years since Edge of Tomorrow/Live. Die. Repeat. burst into cinemas to critical acclaim, with some calling it director Doug Liman’s ‘most pleasurable’ film since The Bourne Identity (Variety).
The visuals, story, directing and acting have all been lauded, so it’s safe to say we’re excited to see what will happen when leading man Tom Cruise teams up with Doug Liman again. And while we know they’ll be working together to make the sequel to Live. Die. Repeat. (titled Live Die Repeat and Repeat), we don’t have to wait quite so long to have our appetites sated, as they are currently working on another film, American Made, which dropped its first trailer today:
American Made is a story based on real life events. It follows the exploits of Barry Seal (Tom Cruise), a TWA pilot who is recruited by the C.I.A. to halt the growing communist threat in Central America. This in turn leads him to get involved with running drugs, money and munitions for several different parties.
American Made flies into cinemas on September 29th 2017.
