Slaves have been announced as the first headliners for this years 2000Trees festival.
The Gloucestershire festival, which last year celebrated its 10th anniversary, has also announced an additional 36 acts, including Leeds noisemakers Pulled Apart by Horses, Nothing but Thieves, Feed the Rhino, Muncie Girls, Vukovi, Dinosaur Pile-up, Blackfoxxes, Tigercub and Petrol Girls.
Also set to perform is former Reuben frontman, Jamie Lenman. Talking about the announcement, Lenman says; “Me and Trees go way back, it’s never a hard decision for me when they ask to me to come play. This will be my first year on the main stage and it’s going to be huge!”
Talking about the festivals growing popularity, organiser James Scarlett says; “As a 100% independent festival, we have always sought to maintain the intimate, friendly and fun vibe that sets smaller events apart and we are growing organically with amazing ideas in the pipeline to help 2000Trees Festival to really flourish as one of the best small festivals in the UK”
This year festival will take place at Upcode Farm, Gloucestershire from Thursday 6th- Saturday 8th July.
