Lucasfilm has confirmed the rumors that veteran film and TV actor Woody Harrelson will be a part of the cast for the upcoming Han Solo movie. The as-of-yet-untitled project is the second of the planned Star Wars Anthology movies (the first being Rogue One) that take place outside of the main story in the episodic saga installments.

Harrelson joins cast members Alden Ehrenreich (as a young Han Solo), Donald Glover (as a young Lando Calrissian), and Emilia Clarke.

“We couldn’t be more excited to work with an artist with as much depth and range as Woody,” said the film’s directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. “His ability to find both humor and pathos, often in the same role, is truly unique. He is also very good at ping pong.”

The Han Solo movie is scheduled for release in 2018.
