‘Game of Thrones’ star Peter Dinklage is in early talks for a key role in Marvel’s upcoming two-part epic Avengers: Infinity War, according to a report by Variety.

Both parts of the as-of-yet-untitled Avengers epic (Infinity War was the original title, but directors Joe and Anthony Russo have confirmed it has been changed – but until the official title is revealed, we have to call it something) will be shot back-to-back, with principal photography expected to begin in a few weeks.

The project is shrouded in secrecy, so much so that star Chris Hemsworth recently revealed he hasn’t even seen a script for it yet. What little is known of the plot is that it will involve a number of Marvel characters from across the MCU coming face to face with the Mad Titan Thanos, played by Josh Brolin.

There is no information about what role Peter Dinklage might be playing.

The third and fourth Avengers movies are scheduled for release on May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019, respectively.
