Following on from the reissue of their debut EP, Holo Pleasures, and their incredibly successful first ever UK live shows early last year, American lo-fi favourites, Elvis Depressedly have announced their European return.
The band will kick off the tour on April 7th with a series of mainland European dates, before heading to the UK on April 23rd, where they’ll play Brighton, Leeds, Manchester and London.
What’s in a name? A lot. Not only do Elvis Depressedly have the best band name in the land, their lo-fi, hi-angst brand of indie-rock saw their 2013 debut EP, Holo Pleasures become something of a cult favourite in slowcore/sob-rock circles. The band, made up of Coma Cinema frontman Mathew Lee Cothran and Delaney Mills, went on to release full length debut, New Alhambra, in 2015 – propelling them out of the cult shadows and onto the radar of the mainstream music press.
