The King Blues have announced details of their upcoming new album. The Gospel Truth, the band’s first full length album since 2012’s Long Live The Struggle, is set for release on Good Friday (April 14th) via Cooking Vinyl.
The album, recorded in London in 2016 and produced by Mike Moore, will see the London band deliver their usual infectious mix of ska, folk-punk, and social commentary.
Check out the first track, ‘Heart of a Lion’, below.
On the new album, frontman Itch says: “I’m so excited to be releasing our first full length album since 2012. It’s been a real collaborative effort with the fans sending in voice notes of their journey of the past year mixed in with my own experiences. This is the most vulnerable and honest we’ve ever been and I’m really proud of it”.
The Gospel Truth is available for pre-order, here.
The King Blues are currently in the middle of a sold out UK tour, but have announced further dates for April and May. See poster below for full details.
Tickets are priced £12 for all shows and are available from See Tickets.
