HELSINKI’S FLOW FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES FIRST ACTS FOR 2017

Lana Del Rey, The XX, Aphex Twin and London Grammar are just a few of the amazing acts announced for Helsinki’s Flow Festival 2017, an unpredicted cultural experience combining music, art, food & drink and more. Also confirmed are Flume, Vince Staples, Angel Olsen, Jenny Hval, Maceo Plex, Jon Hopkins and BICEP.

Along with the high-quality and the continuously growing lineup of musical heavyweights, Flow Festival Helsinki is fast becoming one of Europe’s must see festivals.

Among those heavyweights are The XX, who are set to return in 2017 with long awaited third album, I See You, due for release in January. Check out their recent single ‘On Hold’ below.

2015 Mercury Music Prize nominee, Aphex Twin (aka Richard D. James), one of the most inventive and important producers of a generation, is also making his return the festival scene in 2017.

Additionally, the British three-piece London Grammar are back for the first time since their last live performances in Europe back in 2014, bringing with them their ambient, classical rock sounds to the Nordic stage.

Flow Festival takes place at Suvilahti in Helsinki, Finland on August 11th-13th, 2017.
