Alev Lenz

German born singer/songwriter Alev Lenz has released a brand new video for the track ‘If Love’.

The heartwarming promo, directed by Cannes and San Francisco Black Film Festival-nominated Savanah Leaf (F Word), accompanies one of the sweeter moments on Alev’s latest album – the brilliant Two-Headed Girl. Watch the video, below.

With the video, Savanah Leaf felt the urge to put a positive statement out in the world, at this moment in time. All of the couples/relationships in the South London-located video are real, which really reins home the necessity for us all to start loving each other again.
“This music video is inspired by the current state of the world, in which we often feel hopeless. So many decisions are being made based on fear and hatred”, says Savanah. “With this music video we decided to explore the other side of the world, fuelled with love and diversity, with hopes to inspire positivity and growth. This song has a personal story, but can also be viewed as a concept and message for the greater community of the world.”

The self-released Two-Headed Girl featured in Vulture Hound’s Best Albums of 2016 (So Far) earlier this year. Read the original review, here.
