It’s pretty standard that when a new film is on the horizon, the company producing it will release a trailer. Occassionally, before the main trailer, the company will release a ‘teaser trailer’. Even more recently, companies have gotten into the rather frustrating habit of releasing a ‘teaser trailer’ for the main ‘official trailer’.

In anticipation of Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, the people behind the film have taken a different approach and released the online mini-game Jack Reacher: Never Stop Punching.

The concept is pretty simple. You play as Jack Reacher and you punch a load of people to increase your score. If you yourself get punched out, the game gives you the chance to ‘Keep On Punching’ and start over.

Starring Tom Cruise and based off the novel of the same name, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, see’s Reacher return to his old base, only to find himself embroiled in a sinister plot as Reacher’s associate, army officer Susan Turner (Cobie Smulders) is arrested and Reacher is accused of a 16-year-old homicide.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back is out in cinemas October 21st.
