After their departure from BBC’s Top Gear and the announcement of Amazon Prime picking up their new show, Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond are set to return this November in The Grand Tour.

The show will debut on Amazon’s streaming service, Amazon Prime Video, on 18th November, with a new episode hitting Prime weekly following that. The Grand Tour will follow Clarkson, May and Hammond starting in California for the first episode, and then moving around the world following that. The show has been anticipated since the controversial incident involving Clarkson attacking a producer, causing the BBC to cut ties with him. Following this, Hammond and May stated they would depart Top Gear and move on to a new show with Clarkson. Amazon have released a brief announcement video for the newly announced launch date.

BBC’s Top Gear show has received its fair share of problems since the trio’s departure, with reported controversy on set between co-hosts Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc, as well as criticism from fans. Chris Evans has since announced he would be leaving the show. Recent rumours speculate that Paul Hollywood, a judge on The Great British Bake Off, could depart Bake Off upon its move from the BBC and instead replace Chris Evans as a co-host of Top Gear, but nothing has been confirmed.

The Grand Tour will debut on Amazon Prime Video on 18th November.
