Brawlers – The Bodega, Nottingham (Live Review)

If you are “drunk and fucking poor” on a Monday, it could be due to drinking problems, or it could be because you are spending an evening watching Brawlers and SWMRS in Nottingham. A week on from last seeing Brawlers, you’d be surprised the difference a week can make, because Brawlers just continue to get better and better. The quartet from ‘Leeds’ don’t need defining by fitting into a genre, they are just here to have a good time and spread their infectious and endless enthusiasm, you wouldn’t know it was a Monday night.

Brawlers‘ sound is undefinable, as is their performance style- they’re truly one of a kind, yet they can stand shoulder to shoulder with whoever they’re on tour with whether that be Lower Than Atlantis or SWMRS.

Putting it all out there, leaving the band on the floor and the audience on the stage, a Brawlers show is truly an experience not to be missed!
