Michael Chernus (‘Orange is the New Black’) has been cast as the villain The Tinkerer in the upcoming Marvel superhero movie Spider-Man: Homecoming, according to a report by Deadline.

Directed by Jon Watts and starring Tom Holland, Spider-Man: Homecoming will be the first live-action Spider-Man movie that’s part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The MCU incarnation of the character played by Holland made his debut in this year’s Captain America: Civil War, along with Marissa Tomei as Aunt May.

Chernus joins an already pretty large cast that includes Michael Keaton (as primary antagonist The Vulture), Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, and Robert Downey Jr. (reprising his role as Tony Stark).

Spider-Man: Homecoming started principal photography in June 2016 and is scheduled for a July 7, 2017 release date.
