Public Enemy, RATM Supergroup Prophets of Rage Announce Massive U.S. Tour

There are supergroups, and then there are supergroups. Prophets of Rage is a massive collaboration between Cypress Hill‘s B-Real, Chuck D of Public Enemy, and 3/4 of Rage Against the Machine: ax man Tom Morello, drummer Brad Wilk, and bassist Tim Commerford. The outfit have played just a few live shows together, most recently an impromptu set following the canceled Governors Ball festival in NYC.

Now, this most super of groups has announced its first proper tour, the aptly-titled “Make America Rage Again”. Following a set to coincide with July’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland, the 35-dating outing kicks off proper in late August, and spans through mid-October. Along the way, they’ll hit up locales like Toronto, Brooklyn, Kansas City, Dallas, Tampa, Houston, Las Vegas, and many more. Consult the full schedule below.

Ahead of the itinerary, you can catch footage from the band’s weekend set at Brooklyn’s Warsaw. They opened with a crushing medley of Public Enemy’s ‘Fight the Power’ and the Beastie Boys‘ ‘No Sleep ‘Til Brooklyn’.
