After 20 long years, the song is here at last. Check out the rollicking ‘All For One’ below.

The track is set to be released as a seven-inch in the near future. Pre-orders are available at the Stone Roses official website from Friday May 13.

Just in case you want to relive that flush of pre-release excitement again, our original piece can be found below.

Yep, it’s that moment we all knew was coming but still kept reservations about: fabled Mancunian band The Stone Roses are set to drop a new single today (May 12, 2016).

As it turns out, those lemons that cropped up in and around Manchester earlier this week weren’t actually the work of an elaborate troll (unless it’s really elaborate). It’s true. It’s the third coming of the The Roses and it happens today at 8PM (UK time).

The band are, as usual, holding their cards close to their chests and giving absolutely nothing away about the single. After what seems like four years of non-stop touring and shows worldwide, this return to the studio is long-overdue and has been teased for years (rumours having first emerged shortly after the band’s triumphant reunion shows at Manchester’s Heaton Park in 2012). But questions still remain: Will it be the long-awaited return to form for the band, or will it be another Second Coming? Is this the one?
