Academy Award-winning composer Michael Giacchino announced on Twitter that he will be working on the score for Marvel’s upcoming Doctor Strange movie.

Giacchino is a veteran of the industry, having previously worked on The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Up (for which he won the Academy Award for Best Score), Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Jurassic World and many others.

Marvel’s Doctor Strange stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, a world-renowned neurosurgeon who goes on a journey of mystical self-discovery after a near-fatal car accident changes his life forever. The movie is directed by Scott Derrickson, with a script by Jon Spaihts and is scheduled for release in the UK on October 28, 2016.
