Tegan and Sara

Tegan and Sara have just added more dates to their massive, globe-trotting, 50-date live schedule in support of upcoming new album Love You To Death.

After a handful of LA and New York shows in May, the Canadian indie-pop duo will head to London’s KOKO on June 22 for their first UK headline show in several years. They’ll then spend July in Australia and East Asia, including appearances at Splendour in the Grass Festival in New South Wales on July 24th and Taiwan’s Super Slippa Festival on July 31st. This all comes before their huge 40-date North American tour, taking in most major cities across the US and Canada, starting in Saskatoon, SK on September 9 and finishing November 16th in Fort Lauderdale, FL (see below for the full list of dates).

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, April 29th on their official website. Plus, in a lovely touch, they’ve partnered up with Plus One, donating $1 from every ticket sold on their North American tour to good causes and charitable organisations.

Formed in 1995, Tegan and Sara released their debut album Under Feet Like Ours in 1999, but it was 2013’s album Heartthrob that saw them break through to the mainstream, reaching number three in the US Billboard charts. This years follow-up Love You To Death is out on June 3rd on Warner Bros Records.

You can pre-order your copy right here, but if you can’t wait ’til then you can listen to ‘Boyfriend’, the first single to be released from the new album, below.
