Peter, Bjorn and John’s latest whistle-a-long ‘Breakin’ Point’ gets a remix, courtesy of fellow Swedes Miike Snow.
Two of Stockholm’s finest have had a pretty quiet past couple of years. Miike Snow only recently ended the four-year wait for a new album back in March with iii, and it’s been even longer since the last PB&J full-length. In fact it’s been five years since 2010’s Gimme Some. So, what better way to get the masses excited by the indie-pop trio’s return than by letting Miike Snow loose on the title track from upcoming new album Breakin’ Point. It’s glitchy, murky, inherently cool and you can hear it bellow.
‘Breakin’ Point’ is the second single to be released from their seventh studio album, after ‘What You Talking About?’ dropped in March.
Breakin’ Point is due out July 10th via their own imprint INGRID and Warner Sweden/Kobalt Label Services.
PB&J have also announced plans for their upcoming European/North American tour over the next couple of months.
