The New Zealand synth-pop queen shares another infectious cut from her forthcoming album Wild Things.

It’s been a bit of a wait for Pip Brown (aka Ladyhawke) to release her third full-length album. Six and a bit years after 2012’s Anxiety she’s now just a couple of months away from dropping Wild Things. However, the wait may not have been that long had she not decided to scrap an entire album’s worth of material back in 2013.

Talking about that ‘ditched’ record, Pip recently told the NZ Herald, “I’ve never released anything I’m not proud of. That’s important to me. I don’t want to release anything that I have a weird feeling about. The material didn’t feel like me, it felt too dark or something.” Fortunately, working with producer Tommy English (Børns, Tiësto, Dark Waves), she’s finally produced something she’s proud of.

Latest track ‘Dangerous’ follows up previously released tracks ‘Sweet Fascination’ and ‘Love Song’, to complete a triad of dangerous-ly addictive synth-pop tunes. All signs point to Wild Things having more hooks than a Peter Pan villain cosplay convention.

You can listen to ‘Dangerous’ and see dates for her upcoming UK tour below.

You can also pre-order Wild Things here (due out June 3rd via Mid Century Records).
