The rock gods giveth, and the rock gods taketh away.

Today, organizers of the Camden Rocks Festival have announced that both Escape The Fate and We Are The Ocean have dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. In their place are four equally exciting substitutions: Yuck, Nottingham’s own HECK, Finnish rockers Reckless Love, and power-rock band the Black Spiders.

Those four acts are just the tip of the iceberg, though. Today, the festival has added 40-something new bands to its final lineup of 200. Those other names include Oxygen Thief, COPE, Zebrahead, Franko Fraize, Dana Immanuel & the Stolen Band, October Drift, Longy, The Algorithm, Fort Hope, Palm Reader, Young Native, Nine Miles South, The Scruff Club, Naked Six, Fizzy Blood, Electric Child House, Oh Boy, Pretend Happy, Youth Killed It, and Zoe West & The Hanging Baskets, among others.

Taking place June 4 at 20 venues all across Camden, the festival will feature headlining performances from The Cribs, Billy Bragg, Glen Matlock (of Sex Pistols), Carl Barat & The Jackals, Ginger Wildheart, Creeper, Sonic Boom Six, and Johnny Foreigner.

Other acts set to appear include Norma Jean, Young Guns, Penetration, The Virginmarys, Jim Jones And The Righteous Mind, Queen Kwong, The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing, Desperate Measures, The Ghost Riders In The Sky, The Ramona Flowers, False-Heads, This Be The Verse, Mystified, and many, many more.
