The Teenage Cancer Trust’s Honorary Patron Roger Daltrey CBE has announced the lineup for the evening taking place April 19th-24th at the Royal Albert Hall.
Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to improving
the quality of life and chances of survival for the seven young people aged between 13 and 24 diagnosed with cancer every day. The charity builds specialist units within NHS hospitals that bring young people together to be treated by teenage cancer experts in a place designed just for them.
In its 16th year, the 2016 lineup will include David Gilmour, New Order, The Vaccines, Everything Everything, Bring Me the Horizon, Simply Red and John Bishop.
Daltrey says of the special evening:
“It’s hard to believe this is our 16th year at the Royal Albert Hall for Teenage Cancer Trust, and I’m very happy to be announcing such a varied line up. The money raised is invaluable to this charity, which receives no government funding in England, to help young people with cancer in the NHS.”
