The Chemical Brothers ft. Beck

Music videos with a singular dancer have been quite a trend in the music realm as of late (remember Sergei Polunin’s ever-emotional ‘Take Me To Church’ by Hozier?), but director dom&nic took ‘Wide Open’ by The Chemical Brothers featuring Beck a bit further.

Taken from their #1 album, Born In The Echoes, ‘Wide Open’ offers a breathtaking convergence of the mechanical and organic, having been inspired by procedural cellular structures. The video centers on the evocative dance of a young woman whose body transgresses from flesh to another form throughout the course of the song’s haunting vocals and delicate but powerful production.
