Blood Youth Closure

(See what I did there?)

While there are few rules in Fight Club, one of which I’ve just broken, none of them mention that you aren’t allowed to make great music videos inspired by the cinematic masterpiece–and that’s exactly what this Harrogate metal quartet did.

Offering a heavily emotional video, Blood Youth’s ‘Closure’ explores the feeling of being disappointed in oneself and reminiscent of early Alexisonfire. The single comes from their upcoming sophomore EP of the same title via Rude Records and is set to release on 11 March.

Vocalist Kaya Tarsus explains the narrative:

“The video is inspired by a scene in one of my favourite films ‘Fight Club’. We liked the idea of a group therapy session based around the idea of closure and acceptance.”

The good news is that you can definitely talk about this video and new EP.
