“Refreshing, psychedelic vibes”: The Island Club – Paper Kiss (Single Review)

Just when I thought I had no hope in finding my ‘tune’ for the Autumn season, The Island Club have saved the day.

Yes, I no longer need to search for that song that will keep me going during this dreary season. Just imagine walking around on the wettest of days – all of a sudden the sun comes up and everything is right in the world. Well that’s The Island Club.

This five-piece band from Brighton brings us Paper Kiss, and it’s the perfect pick me up song. The song is a funky dance anthem that has been fused with some psychedelic vibes to get us in the right mood to start the day.

Fans of The 1975 will love this track, and yet I think the band from Manchester better watch out, for these Brighton boys are going to kill the music scene with their refreshing sound this year. This upbeat song will certainly be in your head for a long time to come.

If you want to get your hand on their single, Paper Kiss will be released on the 20th November 2015. I certainly know I will. Listen to the track below.
