With the dust settling and the reviews and interviews from Vulture Hound’s trip to Download being finished off, it’s time for team VH to start focusing on the next festival on our summer plans. Today being no better a day to do it, as Hevy Fest have announced the last two acts to round off a stonking list of bands that will play over Friday 14th and Saturday 15th August at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in Kent.
The astonishingly good line-up includes the likes Coheed & Cambria, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Protest The Hero, Fightstar, Teenage Bottlerocket, Creeper and Baby Godzilla as part of it’s Friday line-up. With Thrice, The Get Up Kids, The Fall of Troy, Milk Teeth, Trash Boat, Horse The Band and Hang The Bastard rounding off Saturdays line-up. You can rest assured the weekend is going to provide some killer sets, and the best part is that it is all set within the grounds of the animal park, so you get to watch amazing bands and then go and watch Monkeys and shit.
Weekend Camping Tickets are just £79, and available from www.hevyfest.com and if all goes according to plan we may well see you there!
