Marco Mestichella has announced his new EP ‘Troubled Water’, to be released on 21 May.

Italian born, but raised in London since age 18, Mestichella has spent the past six years developing his own style of “Illpop” – a unique blend of pop, rock and electronica.

Mestichella claims to be “particularly proud of this record as it represents exactly what I am right now”, citing influence from Massive Attack, Madonna, Moby, Portishead, Morcheeba and Hoovephonic to name a few.

He prides his approach to song writing on creating a story with a theme or narrative, something that is undeniably present in his latest efforts.

Mestichella is currently raising funds for the EP on crowd-funding platform Musicraiser. You can support “Troubled Water” here.
