The first trailer ahead of the release of the first authorised Kurt Cobain documentary “Montage Of Heck” provides an intriguing insight into the life of the tragic Nirvana frontman.

Due for release on HBO in the US on May 4th, the film by Brett Morgen has been made with the full support of Cobain’s friends and family, with wife Courtney Love and daughter Frances Bean giving exclusive permission for him to use never before seen home video footage.

Fans will also be treated to images of Cobain’s artwork as well as unreleasedĀ songs.

For anyone with even a fleeting interest in the life of this remarkable man, this movie will be a must watch.
