Set Fire to the Stars follows John Malcolm Brinnin (played by Elijah Wood), an aspiring American poet. His ordered world is shaken when he embarks on a week-long retreat to save his hell raising hero Dylan Thomas (Celyn Jones).

Shot entirely in black and white by director Andy Goddard who has previously directed episodes of Torchwood and Dowton Abbey, it has also been blessed with an original soundtrack by Gruff Rhys.

The film co-stars Kelly Reilly (Sherlock Holmes), Steven Mackintosh (Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels), Kevin Eldon (Hot Fuzz) and Shirley Henderson (Trainspotting).

Set Fire to the Stars is released on Blu-Ray and DVD on 2nd March to coincide with Thomas’ death.
