The Libertines have today (24/02/15) been announced as Reading and Leeds Festivals’ third headliner on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show.

They join main stage headliners Mumford & Sons and Metallica for the August Bank Holiday weekend, taking place at Bramham Park in Leeds and Ritchfield Avenue in Reading.

More than 50 other bands have also been added to the bill today, with The Cribs, Peace, The Maccabees and Panic! At The Disco among them.

The Libertines, who reformed last year, will be playing Reading and Leeds for the first time since 2010 and headlining for the first time.
