The new single ‘Burning For No One’ from The Cribs debuted on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show on February 2nd.  The single is due to appear on the band’s forthcoming album ‘For All My Sisters’. The single is a typically catchy indie song by the Jarman Brothers with simple but unforgettable lyrics and melodies that don’t require much effort to get stuck on loop inside your head.

A video for the track directed by Andy Knowles was released on February 16th, which sees the band stuck on an island in the Bahamas, ‘Lost’ style but slightly more upbeat. The band end up swimming with feral pigs – not particularly related to the song’s lyrics, but then again what music video nowadays is.
