Bjork will kick off proceedings, the iconic songstress will grace Friday night with over two decades worth of impressive musical back catalogue mixed with her latest work “Vulnicura”.

Funk legend George Clinton will have audiences grooving through the night as he puts on a very special show, bringing Parliament and Funkadelic along with him for the show.

And the anthem writing powerhouse that Ben Howard has become will draw the festival to an undoubtedly entrancing final night filled with ballads.

Some of the other acts appearing across the weekend include Roisin Murphy, Nick Mulvey, Nils Frahm, Caravan Palace, Hercules & Love Affair, Brandt Bauer Frick Ensemble, Benjamin Clementine, Ibibio Sound Machine and Will & The People among others.

The music is not all that Wilderness offers though, unique dining experiences provided by the likes of Michellin star chef Angela Hartnett and the Wilderness cookery school will be making a return with a lineup still to be revealed.

Night life is taken care of too, big brass bands at the Carousel stage, the Gorilla Circus, bonfire stages, late night bars and the Travelling Gazebo Rave are just some of the activities on offer for late night revelers.

Artsy types among us are also catered for, with theatre performances from Old Vic New Voices, Oxford Shakespeare Company and many others. The Prince Charles cinema, Wilderness Orchestra and a Sunday night fire walking ceremony will surely make for enthralling viewing.

The festival falls between August 6th – 9th.
