Long Division Festival Announces Details Of Launch Party

Wakefield’s Long Division Festival, now in it’s 5th year, has announced details of it’s launch party to be held at the city’s Unity Works on February 7th.

Long Division was started in 2011 by indie fanzine Rhubarb Bomb and has, in just four short years, treated the West Yorkshire city’s locals and visitors to the likes of The Fall, Ghostpoet, History Of Apple Pie, Wet Nuns, Los Campesinos, Allusondrugs, Beans On Toast, local favourites Skint & Demoralised and last year’s homecoming heroes The Cribs.

This year’s launch party includes live sets from Cry Baby Cry and The Thomas Wilby Gang, and will be used to announce the Friday headliner, at least one Saturday headliner, and more details of what’s to come at this year’s event. Entry to the launch party is free and starts at 7.30pm.

If the past couple of years are anything to go by, this is a festival not be missed.

Long Division takes place on the 12th-14th June across Wakefield and tickets can be purchased here: http://www.unityworks.co.uk/event/long-division-festival-2015/
