Screening this weekend, Saturday 11th October to be precise, as part of the 58th BFI London Film Festival is new French animated adventure ‘Yellowbird’.

Billed as a film for “all ages” it tells the story of a teeny bird called… Yellowbird. A bit of an introvert who’s never left his nest, having no family and been raised by a ladybug called… Ladybug. He seems an unlikely hero then when he decides to help lead a migrating team of birds get to Africa. Tiny Yellowbird has to overcome all his emotional problems or see his expedition become a failure! It looks like it could be cute fun

A Fremch production by TeamTQ Studio, it’s the first full length film created by the studio. The English language version of the film features the considerable voice talents of Seth Green, Dakota Fanning, Christine Baranski, Danny Glover and Elliot Gould and is directed by Christian De Vita who has previously worked with Tim Burton and Wes Anderson as a storyboard artist. The film is being distributed by SC Films International.
