‘Asymmetry’ is the new album from Mallory Knox out 27th October.

Mallory Knox, who formed in Cambridge in 2009 are releasing this, their second album to a hungry fan base which seem to be growing by the day. Heralded by both Zane Lowe and Fern Cotton MK not only have crowd support but that of the industry insiders also. From a timid start with legendary producer Gil Norton, (“We thought, ‘He’s the man who shouted at Dave Grohl, so he’s definitely going to shout at us’, laughs Mikey) he actually managed to forge a bond with the boys and encouraged them to experiment and reach new heights, the guys are happy with the new record and say the collection is of “the songs that we want to listen to right now”.

On this new record you can really hear the progression of the musicianship and their sound in general. They’ve carried that emotive anthemic sound forwards with them, whilst bringing some new flavours into the mix. Each track stands alone, and differs to the others, whilst having that coherent Mallory Knox sound that is always recognisable. Singer Mikey Chapman’s vocals are the star of every track, his depth and power creates physical reactions in a listener, the tracks reach into your chest and speak directly to your heart.

Mallory Knox will embark on their biggest tour yet in November in support of ‘Asymmetry’. They have recently announced a second London show on 27th November at Electric Ballroom, due to high demand, with support from Frank Iero and the Cellabration, Fort Hope and Mooseblood.

Check them out live near you soon, and find this album on shelves both physical and virtual on Oct 27th
