Glass Animals have recently released their new video for their new single ‘Hazey’ that is due for release on the 13th of October through Wolf Tone/ Caroline International. The track is part of their debut album ‘ZABA’ produced by vocalist Dave Brayley.  The video is accompanied by a spectacular dance performance of ‘Bone Breaking’ by London based dance collective ‘Solitary Crew’ which is a unique street dance style that truly reflects not only the chilled melody of the track but also the important themes within the song.

According to Brayley, the fact that the dancers put themselves through torturous stretches and contortion exercises that enable them to perform in a more fluid and flexible manner reflects his interpretation of the song. ‘Hazey’ to him is a parental character who has abandoned values and becomes wracked by regret. This character speaks in a falsetto voice whereas the child is who speaks in verses with a full voice has matured and quickly picks up the pieces that his parent drops. This is therefore an attitude he feels is summed up by the Bone Breakers.

Since the release of ZABA the band have achieved substantial success with live performances across the globe in which they have enjoyed packed tents and sold out venues.  Check out the amazing video below and if you enjoy what you hear, the band is embarking on a UK tour in October.
