Along with today’s announcement of the London Film Festival programme we are happy to report on another festival taking place later in the year.

The TriForce Short Film Festival will be held on the 22nd November at BAFTA.

Now in it’s third year TriForce focuses on high quality short films (under 20 minutes), the festival aims to “support, recognise and honour film-makers” whilst providing a platform for up and comers to showcase their works.

The organisers are inviting short film-makers to submit their entries for the event. The film can be any genre on any subject as long as it’s under 20 minutes. Entrants can submit there works here:

If you fancy doing something a bit shorter, say 5 minutes or less you can enter for free into the ‘Microshorts’ category:

Last submission date is 27th October so that’s plenty of time!

The event will be held on Saturday 22nd November from 11am-11pm at British Academy of Film & Television Arts, 195 Piccadilly London W1J 9LN
