Nine weeks on, the hallowed ground that is Donington Park has been cleared of stray tent pegs, the squirrels have emerged from their hiding places, and Dave – that guy you saw stumbling around the campsite at 4am singing ‘Dude Looks Like A Lady’ – has finally made it back to Basingstoke.
Though Download Festival may be gone for 2014, it is not forgotten; the legendary bellows of Aerosmith, Killswitch Engage, Avenged Sevenfold, Skindred, Fall Out Boy, Linkin Park and all the others still reverberate through the memories of tens of thousands of rock and metal fans across the UK. Whilst these epic memories may temporarily cure symptoms of Donington withdrawal, anyone unfulfilled with reminiscing can look to Download 2015, returning June 12-14 next year.
Those embarking on the annual pilgrimage can still get their hands on 2015 Festival tickets at Early Bird rates – £10.00 off 2014 prices, and, from today, can reserve their place at Download 2015 via the ticket deposit scheme. Easier than ever, Download fans can split the cost across instalments in the run up to the festival AND get their tickets at the discounted rate. Win.
Early Bird tickets are strictly limited, so all Download goers are urged do a favour for their future selves. Future you will totally be buying you a beer to thank you at Download next year.
